Liposuction
Liposuction (suction-assisted lipectomy) is a technique to remove localized collections of excess fat. Fat deposits on hips, thighs, buttocks, and abdomen, as well as on arms, knees upper torso, neck, and under the chin, can be removed via liposuction. A consultation is the first step an individual should take if considering liposuction. Our surgeon will invite you to discuss candidly your expectations about looking and feeling better after the surgery, while keeping in mind that the desired result is improvement, not perfection. Liposuction is not a substitute for weight reduction that can be attained through dieting and exercise, nor is it a cure for obesity.
